About Daksha

Daksha welfare association is an NPO (non-profit organization), which has commenced in 2018, with a mission to provide educational access and survival essentials for the impoverished children. It has already successfully touched more than 5k+ lives with its pursuits. Incredible things can be done simply if you are committed to making them happen and how deep you touch another life is how rich your life is what Daksha stands by. Its main objective is to provide scholarships and equip children with the basic necessities for their living. With a vision to march for, Daksha is aiming to provide full scholarships for 100+ deprived students by the end of 2025.

Social Activities

1. VIDHYADHAAN

A pioneering program created to transform the lives of rural children by empowering them with the necessary education is the main aim of Daksha.

Scholarships

- Scholarships are provided to the underprivileged students who don’t have the necessary funding to pave their educational dreams.

Providing Stationary Kits

- Equipping deprived/tribal students with the necessary stationary kit.

- Kit includes: School bag, notebooks, pens, pencils, eraser, sharpener, measuring scale, writing pads, and any other academic essentials.

2. ANNADHAAN

From times immemorial, serving people with food has always been of utmost importance. Too many people are hungry not because there is a dearth of food. It is simply because there is a dearth of love and care in human hearts, so Daksha spreads its wings to quench the hidden hungers.

Food Distribution To The Homeless People

- Nutritious food will be provided to the homeless people.

Food Distribution To Orphanages And Old Age Homes

- As per the demands of the organization, either groceries or freshly prepared nutritious food will be delivered to the residents.

Staples Are Distributed To The Daily Wage Families

- Groceries will be provided to the daily wage sustainers.

3. VASTRADHAAN

“Happiness doesn’t result from what we get, but from what we give.” According to the needs of the tribal and orphanage residents, clothes will be purchased and distributed.

4.CHIKITSAM

“Hands that serve are holier than the lips that pray.” As a part of Chikitsam, Daksha will be setting up medical camps in the rural areas, orphanages and old age homes and basic health checkup will be provided and prescribed medicines will be supplied.

5.CHAITANYAM

“While travelling in the unknown terrains of life, it’s good to have guiding lights.”
In chaitanyam, we strive to create the necessary awareness on various aspects like menstrual hygiene in the rural/ tribal areas. As a part of the program, Sanitary kits are distributed. Career guidance including many facets of life and their possibilities are tutored by different professionals and experts.
